Behind Loo Lady is Alison Breese.
I have been an archivist for 16 years and have been researching this topic for the last 8 years. I completed my Masters in History at the University of Otago (part-time) and produced a digital format thesis [found here].
I am very passionate about taking archives and heritage to the world via digital/social media platforms and love the OpenGLAM concept.
I was a Councillor on the National Council of Archives and Records Association of New Zealand (ARANZ) and a member of the National Digital Forum of New Zealand. I am also Chairperson of the Basil Hooper Project Group
I often talk to local community groups and organisations about this topic (which is very popular) so if you’d be interested in this – feel free to contact me.
